The Glasgow College of Nautical Studies is situated in the heart of Glasgow on the south bank of the River Clyde next to Glasgow Green. The College conducts several marine and offshore training courses in addition to offering several unrelated courses as well, which include Business Leisure and Creative Industries, Engineering, and Community and Care. Some of the facilities provided by the college are a 20-metre swimming pool, a fully equipped gymnasium and a Human Performance Laboratory. The college offers accommodation facilities to its students in either self catering or catered residence halls.
